HERO
We have a cat who urgently needs your help! Hero, aptly named for his resilience and strength, was found injured on the road by a compassionate member of the community. It's evident that Hero has endured immense pain and suffering, likely the result of an encounter with a vehicle.
Hero was rushed to BluePearl where the dedicated professionals recognized the severity of his injuries. X-rays revealed multiple fractures in the left hip and a dislocation in the right hip. The consensus is clear: Hero requires surgical intervention to have a chance at a full recovery. This will not heal on it's own and the alternative is euthanasia. Despite the overwhelming challenges Hero faces, there's hope with surgery and post-operative care. Update: Hero is available for adoption! |
VALENTINO
Valentino came to us as a stray in rough shape, but has an endearing personality and is a staff favorite. He was started on antibiotics for a closed leg wound and for an upper respiratory infection and eye discharge. We were hoping this would be the road to recovery for Valentino, but he continued to battle additional health issues. He stayed in good spirits, just wanting food and attention from anyone he met.
Valentino has an adorable head tilt so he eats from a raised bowl. His leg wound healed up but we noticed additional skin issues, plus he persisted to have an upper respiratory infection. Valentino was happy to go see his friends at the vet again, as they were beginning to become familiar with him. He was diagnosed with a skin infection, mange, and an ear infection. Because of his complex health concerns, he was taken to a dermatologist for additional diagnosis. Update: Valentino has taken a turn for the better! He visits the shelter and shows off his shiny coat! Stay tuned for more updates! |
DENVER
Meet Denver! He was a transfer from a rescue partner in Northern Wisconsin. Denver is heartworm positive and had his first injection April 1st. When dogs are undergoing heartworm injections their activity level needs to be very minimal (3-4 five minute potty walks a day) If a dog is active during this time it can lead to something called a massive worm die-off, where the dog may experience a pulmonary embolism or even anaphylaxis which can result in death. Denver will need at least two more injections to help rid his body of the worms.
Update: Denver has been adopted by his foster family: yea Denver!

DIO
16 year old Dio came in after his owner could no longer care for him. Staff quickly noticed a strong odor coming from his mouth. He was brought to the vet and immediately put on antibiotics for a severe mouth infection. Dio had dental surgery, where all but two of his teeth were pulled! Without the surgery Dio would continue to be in pain and have a very poor quality of life.
Dio has been adopted! |
COCKATRICES
Cockatrices came into the Neenah Animal Shelter as a stray. He was dirty, matted, and incredibly fearful. Being outside had taken a toll on him and he needed a lot of help to begin healing, which included medical care and learning how to trust people. After seeing a vet and being on various medications it was found that Cockatrices’ left eye unfortunately isn’t savable and needs to be removed. The good news is he is now sporting a new haircut from having his mats removed and has started showing us his personality. He adores chin scratches, just melts into you because he can’t get enough. When you pet him down his back he pushes his butt up in the air for more, we call this his elevator butt. Cockatrices has surgery to remove that pesky painful eye on January 31st and is ready for a new beginning!
Update: Cockatrice is now doing well and is ready for adoption!! |
MT. OLIVE
Mt. Olive came to us after being abandoned by her owner and having multiple litters of kittens. She is incredibly affectionate and loves to sit on your lap. She started to become lethargic and stopped eating. After being rushed to the vet, she was found to have a Pyometra – a deadly infection of the uterus. If not treated quickly it would result in sepsis, leading to death. Mt. Olive had an emergency spay surgery and is now back to normal, eating and begging for attention!
Update: Mt. Olive is ready to be adopted. She's a sweet girl who is now completely healed and happy, with quite the spunky personality!

ADDIE
Addie had an FHO surgery – she had a broken piece of bone in her hip and had the rest of the femoral head removed. Prior to her return to the shelter, Addie was in pain for some time, being managed by meds. She was long overdue for surgery to prevent arthritis and long term chronic pain. Her surgery was on 12/20 and she was able to go back to her foster to adopt home shortly after that!
Update: Addie's starting to put weight on the leg (after lots of PT) and has officially been adopted. Yea, Addie!!! |
LONG JOHN SILVER
We were contacted about an urgent matter regarding a stray cat, who was found with a fracture to his rear left leg. We immediately contacted our vet and got him scheduled for a leg amputation. It had been a very trying week. We had lost a total of 4 kittens from 3 different litters for various different reasons in the last 5 days. In honor of Jingle, Root Beer, Flubber and Mrs. Doubtfire: we were unable to save them but we knew we could help this guy! Meet our newest resident Long John Silver. He is exceedingly affectionate, and as you can see incredibly handsome. He is estimated to be around 3 years old, already neutered and may have a family out there. UPDATE: Long John Silver's surgery went very well, and he was just adopted! (He's as friendly as ever and trying to figure out how to jump into windows -- everything is an adventure!) YOU HELPED THIS GUY - THANK YOU!! |
PEBBLES
Meet Pebbles!
Pebbles is a sweet, one year old gal who came in over the weekend of July 15th as a stray with a broken left hind leg. She had been wandering around for at least one week this way while an amazing good samaritan was feeding her and trying to gain her trust. She reached out to Get Toby Home Inc., Volunteer Lost Dog Search & Rescue Group and together they were able to catch her.
She was brought to Country View Animal Hospital where she received an examination and x-rays. It indicated that she had a broken tibia and fibula. She was put on pain meds immediately. After seeing an orthopedic specialist it was determined that her leg had already been broken for 3-4 weeks, so repair was not an option. She had her leg amputated and is still a happy, go lucky pup who actually seems pretty pleased that the extra useless leg is now removed.
UPDATE: Pebbles has been adopted!

ROSALINE
Rosaline was started on antibiotics due to sneezing and nasal drainage upon intake. After about a week she wasn't improving. Rosaline stoppRed eating and developed an ulcer on her tongue. We brought her into the vet where she was diagnosed with suspected Calicivirus. Calicivirus is one of the viruses included in core vaccines for cats. Unfortunately it is highly contagious and in some cases even fatal.
Rosaline had a feeding tube and catheter placed and is being observed and cared for at Blue Pearl because she requires 6 feedings a day. Her vet visit to diagnose her and place her NG feeding tube was nearly $600 and we will be seeing more expenses with her stay at Blue Pearl.
Even though Rosaline doesn't feel well she perks up anytime she sees someone, meows at them, and demands pets. She is showing that she still has a lot of fight left in her and we are feeling optimistic. Update: Rosaline was adopted by a wonderful dad!

ZITA
Meet Zita! She came to us on March 14th, 2022 with her Dad, another dog in the home. Unfortunately the family's children developed allergies, so the dogs needed to find a new home. Zita had a small limp, which American Animal Hospital diagnosed as a CCL tear. We were able to schedule surgery for her at Packerland Veterinary Clinic, but unfortunately it was a few months away. Zita got to spend lots of time with our team here at NAS. We learned very quickly that she absolutely loves children. When Zita saw any little person she instantly started wagging. Together we visited Tullar Elementary, where she was able to have the best fieldtrip ever!
While Zita was at our shelter waiting for her June 29th surgery, she was listed online for adoption. We wanted to line up a family to foster, who would then adopt her after medically cleared. On May 17th someone took a chance on this special girl and took her home to wait for the surgery. Zita has recovered fully and been officially adopted by her foster family!

UNO
Meet Uno! Uno came to us as a stray on May 27th. She was brought in by a caring citizen who saw that this little girl needed medical attention immediately. A quick trip to Blue Pearl Emergency Center showed that her eye was severely infected and needed to come out. They performed an enucleation within a few hours of her arrival. After spending the night, she was safely transported back to the shelter. Update: She has fully healed and been adopted by a family!
|
SUZIE
Meet Suzie! Suzie came to us as a stray on April 27th. She was brought in by a caring citizen who noticed this girl was in need. It was obvious she required medical assistance. Thanks to American Animal Hospital, her infected wound was cleaned up and she came back to the shelter for continued care. Her face is almost healed now, but Suzie is now recovering from a bacterial skin infection.
Update: Suzie has been adopted! |
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
Boy, do I have a tail to tell! I was brought into the shelter with injuries on many sections of my body, mostly on my face and right leg. I was suffering from an old battle wound, so much so that I needed to go into surgery immediately. I was fixed up, but have an open face wound which needs to be cleaned and dressed daily. It's going to be at least a month of extensive care before I can feel better. For now, I need to wear this "collar" -- pretty, but not what I want! I am living in a foster home, where I am getting Grade A treatment.
UPDATE: I have fully recovered and was just adopted, even though I'm still learning how to be a cat!!! |
WINALEE
Winalee was brought to NAS by a helpful bystander. She's a beautiful little 8 year old girl who needed extensive dental care. To add to her tale, her bloodwork showed kidney disease and liver concerns. Additionally she had an upper respiratory infection and is on meds for both the infection and kidney issues.
UPDATE: Winalee's kidneys were doing better and the infection was gone! Unfortunately, despite loving vet and home care, her liver was still an issue and she continued to decline, even in her foster home. No amount of home care or medical science was able to help her, and after six weeks in hospice foster, she passed over the rainbow bridge while being pet by her foster mom. |
LACEY LANTERN
Hi, my name is Lacey! I'm 7 years old, weigh 60 pounds, and have the energy of a puppy! I know all my basic commands and tricks, and am sweet and friendly, except with small mammals, such as bunnies and cats. (I ahh, see them as prey.) My friends at the shelter noticed that I was having hair loss and biting of my feet, ears and other places. After testing, it was discovered that I needed an expensive medicine to control skin allergies. I also have a nasty habit of stealing blankets and am working with a certified trainer to correct.
UPDATE: I found a family that was able to continue my training and see what a good dog I can be! I'm in my permanent home now, learning NOT to fixate on blankets or coats! |
FISCHL
Hi! I'm a petite young girl who wandered into someone's backyard before finding my temporary home here at the shelter. I LOVE all other pets and people! Unfortunately my teeth didn't quite match my age, and I needed dental help! I just had my surgery, but stay tuned for updates.
UPDATE: Surgery went well, and I was just adopted into my final family! |
SAUNA
My name is Sauna because I came to the shelter on a 90 degree June day. I have quickly become a staff favorite, often accompanying team members on car rides through the drive-thru at lunchtime. While I am very smart, I have some quirks, like stealing blankets and separation anxiety. I'm not aggressive, but stubborn. Most likely I was taught that blanket stealing behavior was acceptable when I was younger and now I need to relearn some manners with positive reinforcement, under the guidance of a certified trainer. To make life more interesting, while at NAS I discovered that I have allergies which require an expensive medication to fix. Sigh ... but I'm living the life and just waiting for the right family to find me!
UPDATE: Sauna has found his home!!! |
SHARON
Hi, my name is Sharon! (Be sure to say it as Ozzy Osborne would). I came to the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about my past, but I have had a number of litters in my younger years. I'm estimated to be about 10 years old, but it's difficult to tell because my teeth are so worn down. Most concerning, however, was a lump on my side. Luckily my biopsy results showed that it was just a fatty tumor. Now I can proceed with much needed dental work!
I'm a very sweet girl who loves to breath my stinky breath on anyone attempting to use the computer instead of petting me. I'm very mellow and go with the flow. Update - I had my dental cleaning, and actually needed to have a bunch of teeth pulled! While not fun, I do have a new family to look forward to in just a few days! |
OSWALD
Hi, my name is Oswald. I came to the Neenah Animal Shelter as a stray, on what was later to be found, my 13th birthday! I thought I would take myself on a little adventure now that I am a teenager. Once I arrived at NAS, everyone thought I was pregnant because my tummy was so round! I had a chuckle at that since I am a boy, a Yorkie-Poo that weights 18 pounds. After multiple vet visits, I was diagnosed with Cushing's disease, which requires daily medication and monitoring. I am also on a kidney health diet (K/D) to help with some elevated levels.
Update - I'm doing well on my meds and finally received the "all clear - stabilized" note from my vet. My new family came to pick me up, and I'm home!! |
LACY
Lacy is a 10 year old Lab/Retriever mix who came to NAS with her sister. She loves belly rubs, going for walks and her sister! After being checked out by the vet, she found out that she needs a dental cleaning and to have a bad tooth extracted, which is making it difficult for her to eat.
Update - Lacy had her dental work completed, and has found a family to adopt her! |
CHERRY
Cherry needs your help!!!! She's what we call a "hot mess". This sweet 8 month old hound had been spotted eating out of the garbage behind a business for two weeks before a kind person was able to catch her and get her to safety.
She had surgery to correct her prolapsed nictitating membrane; a condition also known as cherry eye. Not only did she have cherry eye, but she also has a very sore rear leg which kept her on exercise restrictions. Cherry's surgery went well: she is happy, active, sweet, vocal and has been adopted! |
DORIAN
Dorian arrived at our shelter with a slight hitch in his giddy-up. He wasn’t putting pressure on his rear right leg, only grazing his toes on the ground. Dorian had suffered some serious trauma in the past few days resulting in TWO fractured tibias! Yes, both rear legs had fractured bones! After surgery, we believe he injured his legs by jumping from a high distance and landing very poorly on his rear legs instead of his front. (aka a silly puppy act!)
From Dorian himself: Surgery went well, and I can return to normal activity! I'm very excited, considering for the past few weeks I haven't been allowed to run, go for walks or jump on the couch. I am in my new foster home, and LOVE playing with the other dogs!
A BIG THANK YOU to all who donated to his surgery fund, to NBC26 News and a local radio station who aired his plight!
NEWSFLASH! Dorian has gone home with this new permanent family - go Dorian!!!

TOD and SWAMP KITTEN
Two of our dogs need your help! In the past week we have had two dogs come into our care who are in severe need of a dental cleaning and extractions. Both dogs were found as strays and no families came forward for them.
Tod (sweater) is a 13 year old Min Pin and Swamp Kitten (in the bed) is a Chihuahua estimated to be around 4 years old. Dental surgery went well for both, and they both found their permanent homes! |
RUMBLES
Rumbles was surrendered to the Neenah Animal Shelter for litter box concerns and an eye infection. Her left eye was crusted shut, along with that side of her face being swollen with infection. The vet, upon the first exam, also noted that 11 year old Rumbles has a urinary tract infection, possible tooth abscess, is diabetic and was drooling blood, probably from the eye/tooth infection. Subsequent exams revealed that she was blind in her good eye, her belly was full of fluid and she had an abnormal growth located near her liver or pancreas.
We're heartbroken to announce that Rumbles lost her battle. The lack of early medical intervention left her with an array of issues and there was no clear way to tackle them to improve her quality of life. After much discussion with shelter staff, the veterinarian, and her foster, we opted to end Rumbles suffering. |
HEIDI
My name is Heidi and I have a story to tell. A little over a year ago I was found in a home with another dog, abandoned by our family. Luckily, we were rescued shortly after and made our way to a rescue group. I was then brought to Wisconsin and placed in an adoptive home. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the best match and I was surrendered to NAS. It’s difficult to see in the photo, but I am almost entirely bald, with a few hair scruffs on my head and back. This is also my first time exploring the outdoors in almost 7 months, since I was puppy pad trained in my previous home.
I went to Country View Animal Hospital for a check up, because NAS knew that my lack of hair was a sign of medical concern. After an 8 hour testing process, I was diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease. I won’t bore you with all the medical details, but basically my pituitary or adrenal glands are not working correctly, which is causing an overproduction of cortisol in my body. This causes hair loss, bloating, increased thirst/hunger, and a few other things. What does this mean for me? I will be on a medication called Vetoryl for life and will need to maintain a close relationship with my veterinarian for blood work rechecks. Aside from that, I will live a happy normal life. I've also recently found my forever home! |
SGT. THEO STUBBS
Sgt. Theo Stubbs was found by a quick acting person who noticed that there was something wrong with his front leg and took him directly to a veterinarian. X-rays showed that his front right foot had injuries most likely from something heavy dropping on it, or catching the foot in something. Our 8 month old Sgt. Stubbs was on pain meds, antibiotics and had daily bandage changes. His foot healed well, and he's now in his final home (minus the flower cone, though!)
RIZZO
Rizzo's days are doing better! She came to NAS a few months ago, leaving her life as an outdoor cat to live indoors only. Initially she was in very rough shape. We thought we had her healthy, but a couple months ago she developed an abscess which burst. She had to wear a cone to let it heal untouched. So far Rizzo's beat eye/ear/respiratory infections, dental surgery, stomach issues, and this abscess! She was treated with antibiotics until her new family came to adopt her!

MAGGIE
Maggie arrived at NAS on December 15th almost hairless, the snow hurting her raw feet. She wanted nothing more than to give hugs and kisses to all the staff, but we were reluctant because she had oozing open wounds all over her body and smelled. Skin scrapes told us she did not have mange and it was just a skin infection. Staff could then accept all the hugs she wanted to give, because she wasn’t contagious. We still aren’t sure what caused her condition, but a couple weeks of antibiotics and medicated shampoo baths has Maggie looking and feeling better!
Maggie is roughly two years old and has a lot to say when using her signature pittie voice. She does her best to befriend anyone in her sight. She’s loving, curious, and just wants to be around people. It’s anyone’s guess what she has been through previously: perhaps her family simply did not have the finances or knowledge on how to help her. We’re happy she found her way to us! She is potty trained, will pick up on new commands quickly and has found her forever home! |
PURELL
Purell, a 2 year old Mastiff, came to us thin and heartworm positive. She is described as the gentlest giant with the sweetest personality and is positively obsessed with people! Leaning on people and offering her paw are favorite activities, as is frolicking in the grass. Her treatment took 5 months and cost close to $1,000, but she's finally heartworm negative and has gone home to her adopted family!
|
BOOBOO
BooBoo was surrendered to another Wisconsin shelter, then transferred to NAS in late August. Before his surrender appointment at the previous shelter, he was unfortunately hit by a car. He suffered a severely split lip, but thankfully seems to have sustained no other injuries. BooBoo did require surgery to repair his lip, but it's already doing better. He does not, however, like the "cone of shame".
Update 10/10: BooBoo has been adopted! |
SMOKEY HUSKY
Hi! I'm Smokey Husky. That's right! I'm named after a famous chef. When I first arrived at the shelter I was covered in fleas, I'm talking millions of those little buggers: I was so anemic from the blood loss that it was unknown if I would survive. Luckily, a couple weeks of medicated baths and treatment has me flea free!
I tried a new diet to keep my health condition under control, but still have some issues. Luckily I've found a family who is able to work with my health issues. I enjoy spending time with other cats and children, and obviously am trying to con my family into letting me help with the pizza! |
QUINN
Quinn is a 6-month-old puppy who was hit by a car. She was having a rough time standing, so we needed to carried her a lot. She is so sweet and immediately handed out kisses to anyone within her reach.
We took her directly to the Animal Referral Center Fox Valley for x-rays and surgery consult. Luckily, her right femur was only fractured and a few pins were needed to put everything back into place. She rested at the Referral for a day, and is now in a foster home. Her recovery will take 4-5 weeks and then she’ll be placed for adoption. Surgery costs between $4,000-5,000! Update 10/22: Quinn, now Elena, went home with her new family!! |
PRINCE ALI ABUBWA
Make waaaaay for Prince Alllliiii!
That's right, Ali Abubwa! I was found starving in the streets as local riff-raff and all my ribs stick out on my 58 pound body! To make me even more pathetic, I was also heartworm and Lyme disease positive! Luckily, I was transferred to the Neenah Animal Shelter from an overcrowded shelter so I could receive the treatment I need for these conditions. I am about 2 years old, love every person I meet, and am an all around good boy! I was treated for my conditions while staying in a wonderful foster home. They couldn't bare to give me up, so now I live there permanently! |
GRACIE
Hi, I’m Gracie! I’m a 5 year old medium sized gal that came to the shelter a few weeks ago with a limp. I went to American Animal Hospital for x-rays and it was concluded that I have a torn anterior cruciate ligament or ACL.
I then went to the Animal Referral Center Fox Valley to meet with a surgeon to discuss repair options. The best option for me was a tibial-plateau-leveling osteotomy (TPLO), which is surgery to stabilize the stifle joint. A TPLO is best because I am still very active and once healed I will want to run and rough house with my canine friends. I was in a foster home after surgery and already putting weight on my leg before I left the Referral Center: a good sign! UPDATE 5/9: I stopped in for a visit! I am now a few weeks into my recovery and doing excellent! You can hardly see my scar and I'm putting weight on my leg again. I found my forever home at the end of May and am very happy! |
HERMIE
Hermie was a 4 month old female kitty that came to NAS after a Good Samaritan found her curled up next to a garbage can. Her exam found issues with two of her legs. Her rear left femur was fractured, while the front left leg had nerve damage to the point she could not use it. She had surgery at the Fox Valley Animal Referral Center to repair her rear leg and it has fully healed! She regained some use of her front leg as well and will bat at toys.
Hermie went into a loving foster home where she could heal in a quiet environment. Once spayed, her foster family realized she was already home and decided to sign adoption paperwork instead of returning her to the shelter. Here's what her new family has to say about her; “Hermie, now Phoenix, has adjusted so well here and has a blast running around the house and playing with her previously adopted cat siblings, Stark and Pepper. Her injuries haven't slowed her down at all, she's definitely all kitten! Thank you so much for all you have done for her and for giving us the opportunity to foster and adopt her! She is a sweet addition to our family.” |
PAT
Pat arrived at NAS as a stray with a bad eye infection. Different medications were tried, but nothing was helping. A veterinarian discovered an ulcer, which was cleared up by a medication change, but he also needed corrective surgery on both eyelids!
Pat had two "entropion" eyelids, which meant they folded inward. It was very uncomfortable, as the eyelashes continuously rubbed against the cornea. Surgery went well: he is completely healed and found his forever home! |
TAZ
Taz is a young, spunky Cairn Terrier that brightens up the room when he walks in! He recently came to NAS when his owner could no longer care for him. Sadly, he has a herniated disk in his spine and a stone in his prostate, both of which are inoperable. With the use of special dog food, we will try and dissolve the stone.
Since there was nothing more we could do for Taz medically, he was placed up for adoption and has already found his forever home! |
PHUME
Phume was a 4 month old female kitty that came to NAS after being found wandering alone in a parking lot. Her beautiful calico fur had been singed, most likely from a car engine. Sometimes cats or other animals will climb into engines or on top of tires of a vehicle to stay warm during cold weather.
She was a little light headed upon arrival, but has been doing excellent since! Follow up vet appointments showed she was completely well and has already been adopted into her new home. Thank you American Animal Hospital for helping her! |
DAYZE & HUNIE
Dayze (3 yrs) and Hunie (4 months) are a mother-daughter duo that came to NAS when their owner could no longer care for them.
As you can see in their photos both suffered from cherry eye, which is a defect when the third eyelid causes the gland to prolapse and protrude from the eye as a red fleshy mass. Both had surgery to correct the condition, and quickly found new homes after healing. Please donate to our Help Me Heal Fund to offset the cost of their corrective surgeries! |
THE MAINE COON TEN
In June of 2019, NAS was asked take 10 Maine Coon cats from a private residence. The females range from 6 months to 10 years while the only male is 14 years old. These cats spent their years producing offspring to generate money for their owner. They are now waiting to head into retirement as happy house cats.
Although the kittens had their first booster vaccines, many of the adults did not receive regular veterinary care. Each of these cats had at least one medical concern, including mammary tumor, pyometra, upper respiratory infections, eye infections, fur matting, and overgrown nails, some growing into the pads. One cat took longer to recover from her illnesses before she could be adopted, and the 10 month old kitten passed away due to complications with a birth defect. But we are happy to report that all have now been adopted into loving furever homes! |
CALICO COOPER
Calico Cooper - named after the daughter of the great rock star Alice Cooper - came to NAS on July 17th, 2019. She was dehydrated, panting heavily with eyes darting, and showing many signs of neurological distress. For a while, she was under the care of Country View Animal Hospital. Symptoms continued to be concerning for a while, but she has since improved, and has been adopted!
|
ANDREA
Andrea came to NAS as a stray in June, 2019. Her tipped ear indicated that she had been spayed through a TNR program. She had an upper respiratory infection, ear infection, and lice! She was also underweight. A few weeks on antibiotics and she began to improve and gain weight. Just as we thought she was over her medical concerns a new one popped up. Literally overnight she developed a growth on her ear. She was seen by a veterinarian who discovered that she actually had a growth in both ears and still had an infection. Andrea had surgery to remove both growths and a dental. Thankfully, her lumps were benign and she has finally found her forever home!

TIMOTHY
Hello, my name is Timothy and I arrived at NAS on 4/20/19 with some gnarly injuries and honestly nobody knew if I would survive. The bone was sticking out of my rear right leg and my tail was shattered. X-rays also confirmed that I had metal in my body, so being shot is a high possibility. Although I had an upper respiratory infection, the doctor opted to do the surgery sooner rather than later, since my leg was infected and could have caused me to go septic.
My friends at Country View Animal Hospital have cared for me since my arrival and I've had a couple great foster families taking me home at night. I'll be honest, the first couple days afterward were really scary, but I had the will to live. I've now found my furever home! I may be minus one leg and a tail, but I make up for that in personality! I love to explore, which includes jumping and climbing. |
FLERKEN
ACE
Hi there, my name is Ace! I am a 5 month old King Charles Cavalier/Jack Russell mix. Because of circumstances out of my control I arrived at NAS where it was discovered my limp was caused by a broken femur! My rear leg was amputated. I was on pain medication but had lots of TLC in my comfy foster home, where I stayed for several weeks before my foster family officially adopted me.
